After saying good bye to our lovely suite that we had stayed for 6 days, we started our journey to Malacca - the historical town in Malaysia. If you want to know more about Malacca, google it - Malacca's History. I'm not a "history" person. :)
The cute rilakkuma in my friend's car.
the driver and the human-GPS.
The Malacca's Dragon.
We had laksa for lunch at Jonker Street.
Now only I know there are a lot of type of laksa. For example, Nyonya Laksa : The one that we have in Selangor : The sour one. Baba Laksa : the one that my friends from Malacca use to eat there. It tasted like curry mee as it's cooked with coconut milk. I was kinda amazed by those fu zuk : dried bean curd that they added into the laksa. After it absorbed the laksa soup, it was awesome.
and I also ordered this - Seafood Top Hat also known as Seafood Pie Tee.
It's a very old shop and it looked very warm to me.
p.s. that angmo very cute right? :P
on the left : pay your attention on the clothes they were wearing : white couple tee + red bottoms = so cute. :)
on the right : my dear friends that made my day : shorty, skinny and fatty. xD
We went to Nadeja for crepes and this is Chocolate mille crepe
Awesomeness : 9/10
p.s. I personally love chocolate very much.
Mango Yogurt Mille Crepe
Awesomeness : 10/10 : must try!
Green Tea Mille Crepe
Awesomeness : 6/10
sorry. I'm not a fan of Green Tea.
Original Mille Crepe
Awesomeness : 7/10
too plain - not my piece of cake.
Friends :)
At night, we had our farewell dinner at Umbai, a small place in Malacca. It was sponsored by the government.
getting ready for the event.
the view from my hotel's window.
We stayed in Hotel Hang Tuah. The hotel was very new but the problem was it was not well maintained by the management. Some of the plugs were spoiled, some of the air conditioner cannot function well, some of the toilets cannot flush and some of the door knobs spoiled. The room was ok and it costed around RM 88 per night included a breakfast but it was not in a very good condition. For me, can sleep but kinda disappointing when we compared it with the suite we stayed in Berjaya Time Square Hotel. LOL
the farewell dinner.
After dinner, we had our supper at Capitol : Satay Celup
Forgive me for being such a dummie, I never know that Satay Celup is not the same like the Satay that we usually have. I thought it supposed to be like someone outside grilling the satay for me to celup into the sauce but now only I know that it is something like steamboat. Instead of cooking it in the soup, you cook it in the satay sauce. It is not meant for satay only but also for seafood, fish ball, hot dog, vege and also squid. I find it kinda interesting but I still cannot accept it as the sauce was kinda oily, I'm not use to it.
ya. We cooked it like that. In the sauce. OMG. O.O
end my post with a cute photo.
Jess! I love your camera! :) So smart.
The end of AIC 2012. :D
To some of you, may think that : why must you make yourself so busy?
Do you have time to study? I think you should focus on your study instead of school activities? School activities give you nothing but waste of time. School activities make your neglect your study.
Nah! It's fun. I learn a lot through out all kinda activities and events that I have joined. I get to make new friends, listen to new gossips and stories, learn new things everyday and learn how to control your temper. I think university life is not just about study and exam. Of course, exam grades are important but you learn a lot too when you join activities. Study and exam should never be the obstacles to stop you from doing something you want to do. It's always about time management. Someone told me this in First Year during orientation.
Live the life you want, you like, you love.
Life is too short for you to regret about it later.
Stop wasting your time and do whatever you love when you are young and healthy. :)
Loves, Joenel.
